Party games

Party games
his party game works really well for a dinner party. It encourages conversation, helps break the ice, and is hilarious.

Get ready
Get some Post-It notes, or bits of paper: one per guest.
On the paper write an unusual phrase and place the piece of paper under your dinner guests' plates.

Here are some example phrases you could try:

- "My parents breed crocodiles"
- "Jelly baby stuck in his ear"
- "Squirrels had eaten it"
- "I used to be skateboard champion for my county"
- "We often eat horse in our household"

PLAY
When everyone is seated, ask your guests to privately read their phrase and to fit it discreetly into the dinner conversation, without being caught out.
See who notices!
You can make it competitive by having a race to see who says their phrase last.

HINT
It helps to select phrases that might suit the group, such as politics, religious topics, family related topics etc. an make it competitive by making it a race to see who says their phrase last.
